Rant...

I just saw something on the Facebook page of a lady from my church who was saying that the new health care plan was going to make her husbands insurance go up a considerable amount. And someone commented (I don't know this person) that working people have to pay more to cover birth control for everyone else. This just grates a nerve that I usually can keep under control.

I guess I should preface this by informing everyone that when I had my surgery to remove my appendix in August, my appendix wasn't the problem. They found severe endometriosis everywhere inside of me. Well basically my only options were to switch birth control or have a hysterectomy. Well I haven't even started having kids yet, so the latter wasn't an option. So I switched birth controls.

Now we can get back to why this irked me so much.  I have to have birth control so that I can actually go to work to pay for this guy to do whatever he wants in this free country. If I didn't have the birth control, I would more than likely be in unbearable pain like I was before surgery. I still have moments and days of severe pain but not nearly as much as the month before surgery. So, I couldn't support myself and pay back my loan for my education if I didn't have birth control.

I know not many people read this blog and that's perfectly fine with me cause that way I can say what I really feel.

Living a Different Fairytale

Since life has seemed to slow down, and found a rhythm of it's own, I have promised myself I would start blogging again.  I am still living a fairytale life, it is just a different fairytale than I imagined a year ago.  Since everything happened back in August, and I didn't end up going to Florida, I have been looking for a big girl job.  Well, about a month ago I found it.  It is literally the dream job I never even knew I wanted.  It's at a company called Holy Angels, Inc. and it is definitely a special and holy place.  I'm doing accounting, and technically I am the Accounts Receivable Coordinator for Outreach Services.  I thank God daily for placing me with this company.  It is a residential care facility for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  Their website can be found here.

I'm back in orchestra, and December is going to be an extremely busy month in the world of violin.  Although, practicing every Monday night seems to be not exactly perfect some weeks.  I also have joined the handbell choir at church, and we're going on a retreat this weekend to our church camp.

I also just ordered my 2013 Erin Condren Life Planner.  This planner was literally the best purchase I made in 2012, and has kept me sane through my last semester of college, and starting work.

I promise to update sooner this time, and I'm sure that there are a million things that have happened that I need to talk about, but until I can sit down and think about all of that this is it.
