Moving?

Recently I've seen A LOT in the blogger world about moving to WordPress.

I'm wondering what the pros/cons are of both options (moving or staying with Blogger?)

Part of my problem with Blogger and some of the reason why I don't blog as much as I would like to is because I can't blog at work because they have Blogger blocked.  And, it's super hard to write a post on my phone on the Blogger app.

Is it easier to write on the go with Wordpress?

And which one? Wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

I'm obviously very confused about all of this.

HELP!?

Easter Dress Shopping

Tomorrow is the first day of Lent.

That means that in 40 days will be Easter!

Which means I only have 40 days to buy a new Easter dress.

Not that I need another dress, but it's a tradition to have a new dress for Easter.  Not to mention I just got my tax refund, so I feel like I can afford something special.  Here are a few of my choices:

I absolutely LOVE this dress.  Let me say it again, LOVE!

Seems like my color for Easter this year will be light blue.  Every dress I love is in this color.

I also think this is a great choice, but I want something that works for church and work and I wonder if this is too short.

And this one. Just perfect  Perfect color, length, everything.

What are you wearing for Easter?

So over snow

I am so over all of this snow.  If I was still in school, I would be begging for snow days.  Now that I'm working, I hate snow days.  I was trying to save all of my days off for the fall holidays.  All 17 I have earned since January, I have now been forced to use on snow days.

Now it was beautiful for about .02 seconds.  And, then I missed 3 days of work and I was over it.

So over it.

Hurry up Spring!

Super Bowl Party

Every year I absolutely love to have a SuperBowl Party!  In the past I've had to drive back to school the night of the SuperBowl.  This year, I'm putting the whole party together myself.  I have about 28 people coming to my party, and my only problem is everyone wants to bring the same thing.

Here's our menu:

Spinach & Artichoke Dip
My brother's girlfriend is making this, so I know it will be amazing!

Wings
Daddy is doing these in the smoker.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Taco Dip

Probably some meatballs, a cake, and hopefully some shrimp cocktail.

I'll let you know how the party goes, hopefully with some pictures too.

Failure

I'm normally really hard on myself about things I try to accomplish.  Like this blogging thing?  One of my new year's resolutions was to get back into it, and try to make it work for me.  I just can't decide what direction I want my blog to go in.

Another thing I tried this past year was Mary Kay.  I went to a party, I loved every single product I tried, and I immediately signed up to sell it.  I weighed all of the costs in my head, and it was a much better deal to just sign up to sell it.  I could get everything I wanted for $100 instead of $300, and I got a 50% discount on everything I bought.  What they don't tell you is they try to convince you to spend $600 on initial inventory.  And, then you have to buy $225 worth of wholesale products every three months to stay active.  As we all know, I work for a nonprofit, and don't make all that much.  And, I'm also paying for my own grad school (with some help from my parents too).  I just don't have $900 a year to spend on something that is going to sit in my closet.  So, to avoid going into debt, I've decided to not buy anymore, and come February I will be considered inactive.  And, I'm okay with that.  I wasn't cut out to sell makeup.  I'm meant to sit behind a desk and study financial statements all day long.  And, I'm okay with that because I absolutely love it.

So, maybe I'll blog every week, and maybe I won't, but because it's for me, I'm okay with it either way.

2014 Blogger Challenge; New Years Inspiration

The first topic for the 2014 Blogger Challenge is to share some inspirations for the New Year.  I don't have a whole lot I want to change this year, but I'd love to be a better friend, daughter, and person.

So here are my 2 inspirational photos for the new year.

Don't let anyone dull your sparkle.

My other goal is to stop living in yesterday.  Live for today!
