We're Engaged!

Well, I know I said I was getting back in it.  And, I can successfully say that it has been less time between my last post and this one than the one before that.  But, I still didn't do a very good job about it.  But, I have been a little busy.

 

First off, me and TJ got engaged.  October 17th, 2015 at the very spot we had our first date.  It was an enormously special day, and I promise I will write the whole story really soon.

 

 

So, we're wedding planning for a wedding on June 18th, 2016.  Venue is booked, and that's about it.  Still so much to do to be prepared for that.

 

Also, still working on finding a place to live.

 

There's the CPA.  I have successfully passed one section (FAR), I am waiting on a score for my second section (AUD), and haven't scheduled the last two.  I took Audit on October 23rd, and the score release isn't until November 24th.  Talk about an excruciating wait.

 

Then there's the new job.  Since I'm in public accounting now, busy season is upon us.  This is my first busy season.  On top of that there's the wedding planning, and house buying mentioned above.  There's also the rest of the CPA.  There's being a youth leader, and being an advisor for Kappa Delta Sorority at UNC - Charlotte.  Typing all that makes me tired, and makes me so glad that I have nothing to do tonight but watch a movie with my sweet fiancé.

Wow... It's Been Awhile

It's been over a year since I have sat down and wrote a post on this blog, and so much has happened in my life since then.  I'm not going to say that I'm going to be back on a schedule, but I've been missing blogging lately so I'm going to try to get back on a regular schedule.

 

Let's go over what's happened since I last blogged in April of 2014.

 

1.  I started my last semester of grad school.

 

2.  I went to a party to end the fall semester of grad school on December 10, 2014.

 

3.  I met the boy of my dreams at this party.

 

4.  January 13, 2015 - The boy of my dreams asked me to be his girlfriend.

 

 

5.  We celebrated TJ's 25th birthday and then my 24th.

 

6.  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Masters in Accounting.

 

 

I've also spent a ton of money on makeup lately, and recently purchased a new Erin Condren planner and stickers.  Hopefully I can get some reviews of my favorite products and how I use my planner up soon.

Moving?

Recently I've seen A LOT in the blogger world about moving to WordPress.  

I'm wondering what the pros/cons are of both options (moving or staying with Blogger?)

Part of my problem with Blogger and some of the reason why I don't blog as much as I would like to is because I can't blog at work because they have Blogger blocked.  And, it's super hard to write a post on my phone on the Blogger app.

Is it easier to write on the go with Wordpress?

And which one? Wordpress.com or wordpress.org?

I'm obviously very confused about all of this.
